Welcome to ECGC. By accessing or using our mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a legal resident of Zimbabwe to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
  • You must notify ECGC immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Services

ECGC provides the following services through the App:

  • Vehicle insurance quotation and purchase.
  • Property insurance quotation and purchase.
  • Insurance claims submission and tracking.
  • Policy management and renewal.
  • Document upload and verification.

5. Insurance Policies

  • All insurance policies are subject to the terms, conditions, and exclusions specified in the policy documents.
  • ECGC reserves the right to accept or decline any insurance application.
  • Policy premiums are determined based on the information provided and may be adjusted if information is found to be inaccurate.

6. Payments

  • All payments must be made through the approved payment methods available in the App.
  • Prices are quoted in the local currency and are subject to change without prior notice.
  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed in accordance with the relevant policy terms.

7. User Obligations

You agree to:

  • Provide truthful and accurate information at all times.
  • Not use the App for any unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
  • Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems.
  • Not upload any malicious software or content.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property displayed in the App are the property of ECGC or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • ECGC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
  • ECGC does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the App.
  • ECGC's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for services in the preceding 12 months.

10. Termination

ECGC reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms and Conditions or for any other reason deemed necessary.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Zimbabwe. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through the courts of Zimbabwe.

12. Changes to Terms

ECGC reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
